The record book
Every map on this site is drawn to the boundaries that governed the election it shows — era-true, not projected backward onto today’s lines. Each layer states its own vintage and confidence, from reconstructed 1950s geometry to today’s high-resolution surveys.
Results come from the Election Commission of India’s own reports; boundaries from DataMeet, datta07, NIC BharatMaps, Susewind and Prof. Sandip Sukhtankar & Manasa Patnam’s shapefiles; candidate affidavits from MyNeta (ADR); the place behind each seat from the Census, RBI, NCRB, ASI, Wikidata and the GI registry — every one credited, with its terms, on the About page.
